LadyCuts: The making of Agatha

So Agatha appeared as the result of a very stressful and unproductive life-drawing class.  In fact the only idea I had for her after a 7 hour session was of her sinking into a blanket of meadow land surrounded with daisies (not on a dusty blanket in a draughty village hall).

And so I scooted off home and spent more time than I should have done working out a design that incorporated my meadow into a funky composition that would translate into a form suitable for linocut..

...And the name is a dedication to Agatha Christie. Clever and mysterious.  And a bit weird.
